Are you a frontline nurse eager to grow your leadership skills? Consider participating in the Nurse Empowerment Program: A free virtual leadership training opportunity!

As part of our commitment to global nursing excellence, Sigma is partnering with The Johnson & Johnson Foundation on a large-scale study we hope will improve the leadership knowledge, skills, and self-efficacy of clinical nurses. We are seeking frontline nurses to participate and help us transform nursing and influence change.

About the study: Participants will take up to nine LinkedIn Learning leadership and management skills courses, up to three Sigma Nursing courses focused on leadership, and receive other exclusive nursing and healthcare-focused content. Eight competencies—leadership development, effective communication skills, dealing with conflict, healthy work environments, diversity, change management, team science, and resilience—will be addressed. Your participation will help us better understand the value, relevance, and effectiveness of these courses in helping prepare nurses to lead from where they are. After taking these courses, participants will be asked to provide feedback regarding the effectiveness of these courses.

Why you should participate: You can receive up to 17.6 nursing continuing professional development (NCPD) contact hours by completing the free leadership and nurse-focused content. After completing the program, you will continue to have access to additional LinkedIn Learning courses for a year. You will also be eligible to receive a microcredential to demonstrate your verified skills. This credential can be displayed in your signature line, profile page, etc.

Eligibility: We’re looking for frontline, registered nurses in the United States and Canada with direct care experience. Sigma membership is not required, so pass along this opportunity to colleagues you think may be eligible and interested.

Additional details: Your participation is voluntary, and you may refuse to answer or exit the study at any time and end your participation. There is no cost to participate in this study. Your feedback will be kept confidential by the study team and the reports of this study will not include any information that could identify you. Only the study team will have access to the study files. The study team members will report study data in the aggregate.
