Committee Opportunity:  Chairperson needed for the Finance Committee.  

The Finance Committee Chairperson is responsible to:

• Ensure Finance Committee responsibilities are met (a list of the committee's responsibilities can be found in the ACNA bylaws on the ACNA website).
• Collaborate with Finance Committee members to schedule needed meetings.
• Plan all committee meetings, issue agendas and any needed documents to committee members at least 1 week in advance of scheduled meetings.
• Treat committee members with respect and dignity, respecting diverse points of view and working to achieve consensus among members.
• Contact any committee member about whom there are concerns regarding his/her/their participation, attendance and/or actions to discuss the matter privately.
• Manage and maintain the flow of committee meetings so that all work is addressed and completed effectively and efficiently.
• Report committee activities, meetings and decisions to the Executive Board.
